Copper State was named 2009 Champion Older Filly/ Mare at the Illinois Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Foundation  Awards Banquet held February 21. Copper State was purchased by Vision Sales 2009 and is in foal to leading sire Medaglia D'Oro.
